Our Week in Review:
Language Arts: This week we worked on improving our journal writing and adding interesting words to make it more exciting to read. We continue with our novel study and hope to be finished before the Christmas break.
Social Studies: Everyone is working so hard on their national parks research and brochure. They look great and are loaded with lots of good information. We are having our unit test on Wednesday.
Math: The class continues to practice our arrays and problem solving skills.
Art: The class made elves in art this week. They turned out super cute! I'll post a picture once they are all complete.
Other: We took part on Thursday in Hour of Code. The class used what they've already learned about block coding and took it to the next level adding text and more advanced actions to their coding skills. I can't wait to have them create some really cool stuff in Language Arts after the Christmas break.
