-Click the calendar tab for more information.

Our week at a glance:

Language Arts: The class began exploring synonyms and metaphors and how they can be used to make writing more interesting. We also wrote about our favourite Christmas memories. After reading more of our novel, the class wrote as the main character to his friend about another character using emojis. This was a lot of fun for everyone.

Tasty Tuesday: Thank you to Ms. Barrow-Cook for providing us with supplies to make our Oh Canada cookies. They were delicious and the class wrote interesting recipe reviews to go with.

Math: We continued to practice our multiplication skills and learned 2 new math games including Kaboom. This could be easily played at home. Ask your child how.

Social Studies: Everyone had an opportunity to present their natural resources presentations to the class and did a wonderful job.

Art: Following up from our Emily Carr presentation this week, the class created beautiful Carr inspired art. I have included a picture of how lovely they turned out.
