I hope everyone had a restful long weekend. We spent ours in Canmore skating and eating maple taffy from the snow. It was pretty fantastic.
In art this week I decided we are going to do an Andy Warhol themed art project. It's been a long while since I have done one and they always do turn out so great. If you are in the school, walk down our hallway and check out the great job all the kids did on their portrayal of the four seasons.
There will be a math test this Thursday on multiplying and dividing larger numbers. We will then be moving onto learning about fractions and decimals. I am also going to give a multiplication facts quiz at the end of next week. Math packs will go out again this week with new games and activities.
I posted the new spelling words to the right of this post and have also added them onto Spelling City which can always be accessed from the link in the Language Arts box.
We are going to continue our week in Science creating a moving pulley system and moving onto more simple machines studies from there.
