March Already!

I can't believe it's already March! Where has the time gone this year?

-Ski day on Monday. Please be at the school to pick up your child by 4:40. Unfortunately I won't be on the hill. I will be in a workshop learning new strategies and interventions for struggling readers.

-We will be hopefully launching our new Samsung Galaxy tablet pilot by the end of this week. There will be more to come on this exciting new adventure for our class.

-There will be a multiplication facts quiz on Tuesday. After we are starting a new unit on fractions and decimals.

-In Science we are going to be  learning about more simple machines such as wedges and inclined planes. We are then moving onto reviewing the simple machines through some fun center based activities.

-New spelling words will be given on Tuesday.

-Book orders are due this week.
