We are swimming this week! Bring your swimsuit and towel! We are going to head over to the pool for around 9am. We will swim for approx. 40mins. and plan to be back at school before 10am. As always, volunteers are welcome and appreciated! :)
ELA: The student book fair/fundraiser will continue this week. Students are working on their stories/books during Daily 5. I am working with students on editing as well as doing guided reading. We are finished our spelling tests for the year. Students will be reviewing all the Word Wall Words and the Grade 2 high frequency words. Year end assessments will be completed over the next couple weeks.
Math: Students are enjoying the Daily 5 math time. We are focusing on adding and subtracting, and problem solving.
Science: Continuing with our insect unit, we are studying animal adaptations for feeding and protection.
Art: Our special clay projects are in! This week we'll be painting and preparing them to come home.
Music: Drumming Workshop
