We have been busy writing stories for the Stollery. Students will be hosting a book fair again at recess tomorrow and all next week. Anyone who makes a donation to the Stollery receives their choice of book written and illustrated by a grade 2 student. As well, all of the students' books will be donated to the Stollery Childrens' Hospital. I've been in contact with the Stollery and they were very happy to hear what the class was doing and commended them on their "amazing philanthropic acts". I am so proud of Carmen for her initiative in getting this fundraiser going and for the 2AK class for their support, enthusiasm, and fabulous stories!
