RBES cheered on some of its own on Friday at the Atom hockey tournament. The Drillers did not disappoint! We arrived part way through the first period with a score of 1-0 for the Devon Drillers vs. Peace River. We stayed until the end of the second period when the score was 8-4 for Devon! It was a very exciting game seeing 11 goals being scored, (and the Zamboni!) while we were there! Our class cheered along with the other grade 1-4 classes that came out to support our students and see the game. No one cheered louder than Mr. G!
Global news was there and we made quite the impression with our fabulous sign! Thank you Mrs. Galloway! It was a special event and we were happy to be a part of it.
