-New spelling words went home yesterday. They will also be posted on the right side of this page.
-We have been working on odd and even numbers in math. Please take any opportunities that you can to point out numbers and ask your child if they can tell you which category they fit under.
-The new reading strategies we have been working on are:
1. Tuning into interesting words.
2. Back up and re-read when something doesn't make sense.
3. Retelling the story at the end or after every few pages to check for understanding.
Forms this week include:
1. Hot lunch was due today.
2. Book orders are due tomorrow.
3. Milk forms are coming home in the next day or two as well.
4. Turkey chase flyers.
-In Science we have been discussing what happens to liquids when they cool or freeze. On Friday we even make chocolate ice cream. It was delicious. Here are some pictures.
