Today was Drop Everything and Read in the gym. All the kids, dressed in their pj's took their silent reading books into the gym to read as a school. We also had Mr. Kierstead come and be our special guest reader. Thank you Mrs. Toogood for reading to us earlier this week and Mrs. Kagume for coming tomorrow to read. If any other parents would like to come read to the class, please let me know. We would love to have you.
A local RCMP and Peace Officer talked to our class this morning to talk about bullying and how to prevent it. The kids had a lot of great questions. They also had a lot of questions about cyber safety making me think we might have to bring them back for a talk on that topic too.
