I can't believe how much we packed into our week. We wrote letters to Santa and descriptive paragraphs, decorated candy Christmas trees, skated, played domino games, completed soft pastel snow men and wrapped up our current Social Studies unit. As well, we practiced our Daily 5 routines and stamina building.It has been a week of learning what our expectations are of each other and we implemented some new routines to make it easier. The kids really enjoyed our classroom meetings and having an opportunity to express what was working for them so far and what they would like to see change in the new year. As a class we came up with solutions for some current playground issues too. The kids gave each other some fantastic advice.
Congratulations to Lincoln who was our student of the week for his beautiful artistic skills and demonstrating outstanding classroom behaviour.
