Welcome Back and to Grade 2!

I can't wait to get our year started! As mentioned in the newsletter I sent home, this blog space will be filled with information about what your child has been doing at school, upcoming events in our school and classroom, as well as important information. The blog does get updated fairly regularly so check back often. You will also receive an automatic email when there has been an update which will also save you some time.

You will find on the right side of the page that the current spelling words are posted. Spelling words will be given at the start of each week and tested at the end of the week. There are also links for your child to practice skills or learn more about the concepts being presented on the right side of the screen. Please let me know if ever I post a link that is not working properly so I can try to resolve the issue.

There has been a new link added to the side bar for Raz-Kids reading. Login information and passwords were sent home with your students with the newsletter. Enjoy the reading experience and remember your child can record their voice for me to hear! If you have any questions about this program or are having difficulties logging in let me know and I will make sure to help you out!
