Tuesday is Earth Day.
Wednesday is Yoga and `Blankie and Stuffie Day`. Dress comfy!
Wednesday is also the last day to Give A Shirt!
Thursday is Poem in Your Pocket Day and Assembly.
Friday is Supergirl`s weekly fitness visit.
In the classroom...
ELA: We will be writing poems for Poem in your Pocket day. Students have started a poetry playlist on SoundCloud. We will continue to do our Daily 5 and spelling. Students will be studying the spelling bee words during Daily 5 time but it would be great to practice these words at home too. The word lists will be added to Spelling City.
Math: This week we are wrapping up our Geometry unit. Our last unit is Patterning which we will start this week and complete mid-May.
Science: This week we are studying 'density' and 'absorbancy'. We will be conducting a few experiments: making a 6-layer density tower, testing different materials for absorbancy, and a Stop the Leak! challenge.
