Online Alberta Regions Project

To enrich our current study of Alberta's 6 Natural Regions, students have begun a series of activities that consider the wide range of learning styles within our class. For each region, I designed a variety of tasks that students get to chose from including hands on activities, written work, math based and visual type activities. The most exciting part of this project is that a large part of it is technology based using Google Chrome and our new class set of Netbooks. One advantage of this is that most of the computer based tasks can be accessed from home, giving you another opportunity to see what your child is working on in school. To access this, have your child log you into Google Chrome where they can then access their work.
